Artista 'multimediale'
per eccellenza, protagonista dell'arte meccanica futurista, realizza nel
1926 l'arredo di casa Zampini ad Esanatoglia (Matelica), quattro ambienti
la cui definizione formale era caratterizzata in funzione psicologica
rispetto alle funzioni d'uso.
Si iscrive in due occasioni alla Scuola di Architettura, prima a Roma
e successivamente a Firenze, pur non laureandosi.
Lavora attivamente come scenografo e progetta costumi meccanici.
Particolarmente vicino - anche ideologicamente - alle avanguardie comuniste
sovietiche (Malevic, El Lissitskij) all'inizio degli anni '30 abbandona
di fatto il movimento futurista, trasferendosi prima in Germania - ove
frequenta il Bauhaus fino alla sua chiusura voluta da Hitler nel 1933
- e poi in Svezia, ove opera come architetto a partire dal dopoguerra.

Pannaggi enrolled twice in schools of architecture, firstly in Rome and
then Florence but did not graduate from either.
A 'multimedia' artist par excellence and one of the protagonists of Futurist
“mechanical art”, he
designed the furniture for the Zampini house at Esanatoglia (near Matelica)
in 1926, four rooms that are close to Suprematism and whose formal definition
was characterised as a psychological function with respect to the actual
functions of use.
Pannaggi worked as a theatre set designer and also designed 'mechanical'
theatre costumes.
He was ideologically close to the Soviet communist avant-gardes, and at
the beginning of the 1930s he effectively abandoned the Futurist movement,
moving first of all to Germany where he attended the Bauhaus up to its
closure (ordered by Hitler in 1933) and then to Sweden, where he worked
in the field of architecture after 1945.
